Job Summary:
Trains, Engages, Implements and Monitors adherence to Nile Hospitality Standard Operating Policies, Procedures and Service Standards by all team members of Rooms Division (Front Office and Housekeeping)
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Train Self, Understand and Follow Nile Hospitality Standard Operating Policies, Procedures and Service Standards
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectation and Nile Hospitality Brand Standards 
  • Ensure all training material is updated 
  • Develop, implement and monitor progress of every team member
  • Develop, implement and monitor progress of the division's strategic training plan 
  • Liaise with HOD's of Housekeeping and Front Office to determine the training needs for all team members 
  • Conduct daily training sessions for both departments
  • Ensure training, documentation and testing of all team members is completed in the required time frame 
  • Coordinate training sessions 
  • Conduct regular audits of operation time based on Standard Operating Procedures
  • Manage, analyze and investigate guest feedback, prepare action plans and implement changes for enhancement of guest experience
  • Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Should have worked as Team leader in Front Office for at least one year
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal 
  • Good computer skills
  • Proficiency in Micros, Opera, Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as a minimum.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Is creative and flexible

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and team environment
  • Attentive to guest needs 
  • Able to work holidays and weekends 
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
